Hello again, in this week we have
learned more interesting topics in TSP that will help us to continue developing
our project. This Friday we were seeing about the ISO / IEC 29110 process
standards; in which we learned how this standard is conformed, its general
characteristics, some of the profiles it handles, entry conditions, among other
things. In fact, we realized that it was a lot of information regarding the ISO
/ IEC 29110 standard and the Project Management and Software Realization processes,
but despite being a lot of information about processes, inputs and outputs; we
realized that it is necessary to review them because they will allow us to
carry out our project through the follow-up of a defined standard, with their
respective documents and guides to follow; to have a better control of our
process. 馃え
We also sat down to review in which phase we
are in our project; since despite the falls, we had to get up and continue with
the definition of our possible solution proposals. At that time we felt a
little nervous because we did not want to go back too much in our project, once
the teacher will come with us to ask how we were going. Once we finished
explaining how we were and our proposals, we felt a great relief as a team
since we only had some minimal details to correct and rethink or propose a new
solution 馃槂, so
we felt good about ourselves.
From here we learned that it is not bad to fall
and get up in the process, the important thing is to do it soon so that we can
get up faster and continue moving forward. At the end of class we felt tired of
everything we had done in class, but that day we left with a quieter posture. 馃槂
Then we continue to see very interesting topics
like SCRUM. From SCRUM we learned in a general way: what it is, as it conforms,
what are some of the main characteristics that complement it, the cycle or
process that follows each of the sprints, the roles of the members within
SCRUM, among other things. As on past occasions we learned that this is one of
the agile methodologies or frameworks that we can apply in the development of
our project; and that through what we had already seen regarding the ISO / IEC
29110 standard and TSPI we can complement them in order to define how we are
going to handle the process and the formats that we need to continue with the
development of the project in mind. 馃え
At the moment of seeing how the information
tied and everything that awaits us to do in the future regarding the project,
we feel a little pressured by what we have to move forward and finish; but at
the same time we are motivated and with a challenging attitude to carry out the
project and to be able to implement all the knowledge that we have previously
acquired and the new ones to implement them for the development of the solution
to the problem that we have treated from the beginning. 馃槈
We learned that continuing to work as a team in
any activity related to the project and in general will bring us benefits to
mitigate the problem to face and have a better relationship between us to get
ahead with the challenges.馃槈
Another of the things we learned is that when
talking with the people we consider end users of the possible application to
validate the proposals for solutions, it can result in various situations that
allow us to obtain or improve some of the previous ideas we already had or add
new elements that can give better value to the proposals that, after all, are
to solve this problem that is presented today. For this case we had to do more
validations than were requested (10 more 馃槙) of our prototypes because it was
difficult to determine which was the winning prototype, since it had reached a
draw. Our users validated that the best solution to the problem of
"Insufficient space in public transport in rush hours in Zacatecas capital"
is: a mobile application that allows users to request transportation,
establishing communication with drivers who wish to share the space in his car.
That is very exciting, we feel very happy. 馃
Despite the workload and stress, we feel that
there is no problem that can stop us as a team and that prevents us from
achieving the main objective, which is to solve the problem we raised from the
beginning. We are encouraged to continue moving forward in this project in the
best way and look forward to the final results. 馃槂
After our normal classes, we continue to see
more about SCRUM and the initial activities we must do to continue developing
our project. The teacher taught us about how to fill out the Statement of Work;
since this would be the first step to continue with our project. We also
learned a little more about the roles we should play and how they are
distributed.馃槂
In these last days of the week we have
continued working with details of the prototypes to finish the Design Thinking
phase, and continue with the elaboration of the presentation of the winning
solution proposal, in addition to continuing to strive and surpass each day more. 馃槃
In recent days we have felt better as a team
since we have improved the way we work and organize, we are still learning on
the go; but this has helped us to move forward, stay focused and motivated with
the development of the project. 馃槃
